An Event/Campaign Intern will gain training and experience in planing, staffing and managing multiple advertising campaigns simultaneously, which are executed all over the country. You should be good with people and able to efficiently get results over the phone, via email and in-person. The role is also client-facing, so professional written and oral communication skills are a must.
This is a small, hands-on and hardworking team, so you’ll get to collaborate with and learn from everyone on the team, from the CEO, to the VP of Sales, to the Biz Development and Production Manager, to other Project Managers.
Training areas include:
-Providing thorough market research for proposals, projects, and events
-Organizing, staffing and managing street team promotions, events, and stunts
-Talent recruitment, interviews, and training
-Managing distribution of printed items like branded coasters or static clings in venues
-Coordinating logistics for all campaign components and supplies
-Negotiating rates with third-party vendors and freelancers and managing budgets
-Reconciling campaigns through written recaps, event photo editing and organization, assembling web-based completion reports, and invoicing talent/contractors
-Interacting professionally with clients and contractors via phone, email, and in person
-Helping create and manage social media promotion for assigned campaigns
-Assisting with incoming and outgoing shipments and product inventory – we all dive in and get our hands dirty handling physical labor as needed
-You’re interested in marketing, event planning, or project management
-You possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
-You are proactive, resourceful, self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion
-You are adept at managing client expectations and resolving issues with diplomacy
-You have exceptional time management skills and can handle a fast-paced environment
-You’re proficient with G-Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Maps), web navigation and social media platforms.

on an as-needed basis when campaigns require.
